Is My Care Helpers an Agency?

No. My Care Helpers is a marketplace connecting non-clinical caregivers ("Helpers") with individuals and families who need companionship care support in the home. My Care Helpers does not employ, contract or otherwise have any arrangement with Helpers on the platform.

Can my Helper provide transportation?

My Care Helpers platform has not reviewed any MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) for Helpers on the platform. If potential clients of Helpers are interested in the Helper they hire providing transportation outside of the home, they should be advised that My Care Helpers does not review any MVR and the companionship care discussed for Helpers during any screening conversation is focused on providing companionship care services in the home or facility.

How do I know if the Helper is an Independent Contractor (1099) or Employee (W2)?
