Why My Care Helpers?

Through personal and professional experience, I noticed that there is a gap for those looking for part-time or short-stay Senior caregiving services, with Companionship Care being particularly difficult to staff and, potentially, underutilized overall. I also noticed that every 'marketplace' platform I could find required a monthly subscription fee (usually difficult to figure out how to cancel) just to be able to message with potential caregivers, even if you only wanted to chat briefly to see if they could be a good fit. Additionally, many experienced and highly recommended 'private-duty' caregivers do not have a platform to showcase their work outside of very large marketplaces where quality can be difficult to ascertain, meaning many great "Helpers" are hard to find. By enabling those looking for Companionship Care to connect with Companionship Care focused "Helpers", we hope that the My Care Helpers platform can support Seniors, their families and Helpers who can all benefit from Companionship Care.
